I've been getting my hair cut by Ronnie at Mellow, and he does an absolutely incredible job every time. His attention to detail is next level—he gives me the cleanest, tightest bald fade I’ve ever had. He really understands how to shape a cut to fit my face and hair type, making sure everything blends perfectly. The shop itself has a chill, welcoming vibe, which makes the whole experience even better. If you want a barber who actually listens and delivers flawless cuts, Ronnie is your guy. Highly recommend!

Big fan of both Mellow & Barbers and Jordan. Love the location and space on Fillmore. Jordan has also been cutting my hair for 3 years - he consistently does a great job every time and I’m always happy with my haircut. He’s great with clippers and scissors, and has worked with me on a variety of styles.

I just started growing my hair back out after a few years of buzz cuts. It got to a point where it was just looking like a mess and I had a wedding coming up. Jonah understood the assignment and gave me a great cut that I could walk out with and grow into. Very chill shop and everyone in there was super nice. I live in the east bay, but I'll be crossing the bridge to hit Mellow next time I need a trim. Thanks yall!

I was a little nervous being my first time there, but he was super laid back, easy to talk to, and best of all gave a killer haircut. He’s definitely going to be my go-to barber now. Highly recommend Jonah.

I had an excellent experience in my first visit to Mellow & Barbers - my barber Orion, was thorough and detailed in his work, and I left feeling like I got my first great cut in a long time. Music and decor inside was also great - the two pups were the cherries on top. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience in my first visit to Mellow & Barbers - my barber Orion, was thorough and detailed in his work, and I left feeling like I got my first great cut in a long time. Music and decor inside was also great - the two pups were the cherries on top. Highly recommend.

What a great experience all around—Jonah gave an incredible haircut, the store was immaculately clean, and the vibe was spot on. Bonus: it smells absolutely amazing in there. Would recommend without hesitation.

Great experience! It was my first time visiting and I got an appointment with Jonah. After a quick consultation, he did a real nice job cleaning up my facial hair. Clean shop, nice atmosphere, and great work. Definitely plan on going back!

Awesome experience. Shop is a beautiful space and smells great. Jonah took his time, discussed ideas with me, and gave me an a incredible cut. Overall a really cool dude. Nailed my fade. Shampoo after was extremely relaxing. Will be going back. It was a high quality haircut experience.

This was the 3rd shop I've tried since moving to SF a few months ago, and I'm glad to say the search is over. Just from a picture and a few words, Jonah gave me the perfect cut. Neck shave is included, which is such a delight. Cool vibes, cool people, great location by N Judah stop, and they even sell plants. 10/10

I have never grown a beard before, but my husband convinced me not to shave for a week, and the feedback from friends convinced me to try it for a month. After the second week, however, it was getting pretty ragged, so I made an appointment and Mellow & Barbers. Jonah did an awesome job with my first ever trim and maintenance. I don't know if I will keep my beard, but I do know I will be going back again to M & B!

This is a great barber shop that just opened up a couple months ago, but is staffed with experienced barbers. My stylist, Melissa moved over to this shop recently, however I have been getting my hair cut exclusively from her since 2017! She is just that good! Great at listening at how I would like to get my hair cut and also advising me on changes too.
I can’t overstate how much she has done for my hair style over the years! Also this barber shop is well appointed and very stylish. It is located right off of the N-Muni in Cole Valley so it is pretty convenient.

Had amazing cuts from Jonah and loved it! His attention to detail and ability to cut based on my head shape make him standout from other shops. Shop aesthetics are on point and overall easy process end to end. Will definitely be back again!
